Joint Labor/Management Insurance Committee

Local 8 committee members are Julie Fried-Devine and Glenda Harris

Established in 1990, the Labor Management Committee on Insurance (LMC) is advisory to the county board, providing input into county employee insurance benefits. The goal of the committee is to promote quality, cost-effective insurance which is affordable and viable for the long term.  The committee consists of 15 voting members; eight from Labor, six from county administration and one from non-represented employees.  Each of the 23 bargaining units may select an alternate and county administration may select six alternates, who participate as non-voting members of the LMC.
